We now have the opportunity to offer an exciting and challenging role for an experienced Chartered Surveyor or for someone that is ready for their next career step.
Recently voted one of the top 10 best employers in the county, H&H is a proactive and client focussed leading provider of agency, management, professional, architecture, planning, development and business consultancy services across the rural, commercial and residential property sectors.
We look to appoint passionate, practical and enthusiastic individuals to join our Land Agency team and this role is primarily based in Carlisle but will involve travel throughout Cumbria, the South of Scotland and into the North East.
We offer flexible working arrangements, career development and progression, and a hugely experienced and supportive wider team to help you integrate.
We are looking for driven, well organised individuals that can demonstrate excellent time management skills with an ability to manage a broad portfolio of work. You will be supported to be proactive and play a key part in a developing and growing team.
The role includes but is not limited to the following:
You will preferably be a Chartered Rural Surveyor with 1 – 3 years post qualification experience (but applications from graduates and more experienced professionals will be considered). You should have good knowledge and understanding of rural and agricultural matters, be able to think outside the box and have the confidence to challenge and deliver often difficult and, at times, contentious business recommendations. CAAV membership is desirable but not essential.
You should demonstrate a strong interest in the rural environment and be adept at and enjoy engaging, influencing and communicating with clients, professionals and the rural community.
Whilst relevant practical agricultural experience is preferred, the company is happy to consider applications from those who can demonstrate broad experience in the sector.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
As well as the usual benefits you would expect from a well-established, forward-thinking employer, such as a highly competitive salary (based on experience), company pension, training and personal development, free onsite parking and salary sacrifice schemes, we also offer an income protection policy and private healthcare benefits.
We are proud to be an employer of choice and our group wide ambition, vision and values are reflected in all the areas we operate, from teamwork to client relationships.
