Signage Fitter/Technician

H&H Reeds, based in Penrith, are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Sign Fitter/Technician to join their diverse business. The successful applicant will assist in the manufacture and installation of internal and external signage and graphics using various forms of media and materials. We manufacture, supply, and fit all forms of signage including shop frontage, vehicle wraps and graphics, indoor displays and large format displays and art installations.

H&H Reeds have been trading for 140 years and as part of the H&H Group are Cumbria’s largest commercial printer, and one of the best equipped in the North of England. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an exceptional eye for detail, and who takes pride in going that extra mile in ensuring our clients designs are brought to life through precision and attention to detail.

The role encompasses all aspects of manufacture, using various types of materials and machinery including, printers, vinyl cutter and CNC routers. Primarily however, this role will be a signage fitting, vehicle wrapping and graphic installation role.

On almost all occasions, we fit the signs and graphics onsite for our clients, this is done at various locations throughout the United Kingdom, but predominantly Cumbria and surrounding counties; so willingness to travel would be required.

Our clients vary from design agencies with valuable customers, to clients who require assistance designing their signage product for their business, whether it be a shop sign, vehicle wrap or graphics.

The successful applicant should be enthusiastic, able to work on their own initiative, reliable, be well organised with excellent time management skills, focused on attention to detail and be highly confident with clients. Able to work individually whilst also demonstrating the ability to work as part of a team in both leading and supportive roles.

A minimum of 2-3 years sign fitting experience is preferred, coupled with a willingness to learn new skills and a dedication to achieving our customers’ requirements.

PASMA, IPAF, CSCS – Accreditations are desirable but not essential.

Successful applicants will be expected to start as soon as available.

Salary will be based on experience.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm, but as we are a manufacturing company, you may be asked to work weekends and altered hours, offering the opportunity to boost your salary with overtime during busier periods.
