Promotion to Associate Director for Local Chartered Surveyor17th February 2020
H&H Land & Estates promotes from within as it continues to expand
As part of its ongoing growth, H&H Land & Estates has recently announced the promotion of Associate and Chartered Surveyor, Tracey Jackson, to the role of Associate Director and Head of Land Agency (North Lakes). Tracey has stepped into this role to manage the Carlisle Borderway office and expand the client base in West Cumbria.
This announcement comes at a key time for H&H Land & Estates as it continues to strengthen its presence and geographical coverage in West Cumbria following the acquisition of Smeatons Estate and Lettings Agency in Keswick and Cockermouth last summer.
Tracey lives near Cockermouth with her fiancé on a beef and sheep farm. Farming has always been part of her life, coming from a family of farmers and growing up on a mushroom farm near Thursby. Tracey’s knowledge of Cumbria’s rural sectors from both a professional and personal perspective brings a wealth of experience to the role.
Graduating from Harper Adams University with a degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management, Tracey has worked in private practice in Shropshire and in local Government as a surveyor for Lancashire County Council. She joined H&H Land & Estates in 2015 as a Chartered Surveyor having previously worked for the company before embarking on a professional career. Tracey is a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers and an examiner to Northern Group.
On accepting this promotion Tracey Jackson, said:
“I am delighted to have been appointed to the role of Head of Land Agency in the North Lakes and I am excited to strengthen and grow the land agency business.”

Commenting on Tracey’s promotion, Colin Tomlinson, Managing Director of H&H Land & Estates, said:
