Laggan Outdoor Activity Online Sale

28th November 2020

Extraordinary Auction Provides Unique Festive Gifts – from Segways to Zip Wires, Laggan Outdoor Activity Online Sale held by Harrison & Hetherington promises the best Christmas presents for adventure seekers.

Next week promises to bring one of the most unique sales to Carlisle’s Harrison & Hetherington with potential buyers having the opportunity to get their hands on an array of exciting outdoor activity equipment. With lots ranging from Segways, to zip wires, bows and arrows and shooting targets, this Online Timed Sale is set to start bidding on the 3 December over a 24-hour time-slot and finish on Saturday 4 December.

Being sold in over 100 lots, the variety of Laggan Outdoor equipment on offer means interested buyers will be taking part in a first-of-its-kind sale for Harrison & Hetherington. With Christmas around the corner, and a re-energised interest in the outdoors following the UK’s two lockdowns, this one-time auction is sure to attract those looking for a rare gift.

This clearance auction (click here) comes at a time when the vendors, the owners of Laggan Outdoor, are restructuring their business away from being an Activity Centre to becoming a luxury dining experience and wedding venue.

Items included in the sale include:

  • Segways
  • Archery bows
  • Archery target faces
  • 2-way weather resistant radios
  • Zip wire equipment
  • Bike helmets & safety pads
  • Land Rover vehicles
  • Ride on mowers
  • Quadbikes
  • Sledges

Commenting on the sale, Auctioneer Grant Anderson, said: “We have sold many things but certainly never a Segway or an Archery Bow. This is a sale that is ideal for anyone looking for something rather different to gift this year, to children and adults. In an auction whether virtual or live, there are no guarantees, however with this auction one thing that I can guarantee is that several of the lots will provide a lot a fun!.  So if anyone who does not want to miss out on this unique Christmas opportunity, I would encourage them to review the lots online in good time before the sale.”

With more than a 200-year old history, Harrison & Hetherington has recently found success with its online auctions after adapting to COVID restrictions. The team will facilitate the digital equipment sale, starting at noon, on its bidding platform, with buyers registering before the sale to make offers. H&H are happy to respond to any queries buyers may have.
