Cumbria-based Chartered Surveyor Janet Flintoft has been promoted to Associate Director at H&H Land & Estates, marking the next step in her career and reflecting her growing role supporting rural clients across the region.
H&H Land & Estates has announced the promotion of Chartered Surveyor Janet Flintoft to the role of Associate Director, further strengthening its leadership team across the North of England and Scottish Borders.
Janet, who is based in Cumbria, has been with the company for a number of years, and is widely recognised for her expertise across a range of rural professional services. Her promotion reflects her strong track record within the business and her continued commitment to delivering high-quality advice to clients.
Originally from a farming family in Yorkshire, Janet graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc (Hons) in Rural Enterprise and Land Management and she is a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Commenting on the promotion, Tim Sedgewick, Director at H&H Land & Estates, said, “Janet’s promotion to Associate Director is thoroughly deserved. She has consistently demonstrated a high level of professional expertise, alongside a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our clients.
“Her ability to combine practical farming knowledge with strategic advice makes her an invaluable part of the team. Janet is also a strong leader within the business, and I know she will continue to play a key role in supporting both our clients and the ongoing development of our team.”
Janet lives at Raughton Head with her husband and three sons on a working dairy farm, where they milk around 250 cows alongside running beef cattle and Texel-cross ewes. This hands-on experience continues to underpin her professional approach and strengthens her understanding of the agricultural sector.
In her role, Janet supports clients across Cumbria and the Scottish Borders with services including farm sales, valuations, landlord and tenant matters, asset appraisals and strategic business and planning advice. Her practical farming background, combined with professional expertise, enables her to offer in-depth guidance and support to farming businesses navigating this continually evolving industry.
Janet Flintoft added, “I am delighted and honoured to be promoted to Associate Director at H&H Land & Estates. Having grown up in farming, and now working closely with rural businesses across the region, I am passionate about supporting clients through both the challenges and opportunities they face.
“In recent months, I have focused on strengthening relationships across the business and expanding our presence across Cumbria and southern Scotland. I look forward to building on this momentum, continuing to develop my role, and supporting our clients with practical, forward-thinking advice.”
