A luxuriously furnished cottage with a wood burning stove offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
Located in the quiet village of Dacre, just two miles from Ullswater, with many beautiful walks available right from the doorstep. The popular Ullswater Way is nearby along with Dalemain Mansion and Historic Gardens, Aira Force waterfall, and Helvellyn.
The space
Step through the front door into the country kitchen, put the kettle on or open a bottle, take off your shoes, and enjoy a comfy seat in the lounge. Open the garden door from the lounge and listen to the chorus of birdsong and the babbling beck at the bottom of the garden , or cosy up on the sofa with a brew and a book.
The open staircase from the lounge takes you up to the bathroom and two bedrooms (both bedrooms look out over the garden to the rear of the cottage).
We'll provide you with some kitchen essentials and refreshment gifts to say welcome and enjoy. And there'll also be some bathroom toiletries with our compliments.
