So the big 100km challenge is on tomorrow! The infamous Wooler Wheel cycling sportive starts from our H&H Wooler mart in Northumberland.
Last, but certainly not least, we focus this week on Richard who is part of the H&H Wheelers undertaking this challenge to raise funds for our chosen charities - RABI, RSABI and Growing Well.
Richard said "Training as with most things in life doesn’t normally go to plan! This year has been no exception, with injuries in my hamstrings then a broken bone in my foot, training is a long way from being on any plan. That said, I’m four rides in this year with the last one my longest, although only a few days ago so will almost certainly still be in the legs. But hey! It’s meant to be a challenge and these sorts of things tend to bring the best out in me. It sounds like a great event, through stunning countryside and all for some amazing charities……….. what’s not to like!?!"
