Following five years in the Chair and many many more years of dedicated service and leadership, it is with mixed emotions that we announce that Michael Scott is retiring as Chairman from H&H Group Plc effective from 8th November.
It's been an honour to work with and alongside Michael and we’re all grateful for the extensive knowledge, skills and experience he shared with the teams, both in his official capacity and as a regular at our marts. His impact and legacy will remain with us long after he leaves and I’m sure and hope we will still see him around the mart for years to come.
I know every one of you who have ever stopped to pass the time with Michael have enjoyed his wit and his depth of knowledge about everything livestock related.
We all wish Michael the very best in his new endeavours in Yorkshire and a very long, happy and healthy retirement!
