During March, Cancer Research UK challenged us to walk 10,000 steps every day for the month whilst raising money for life-saving research. With this support, they can continue to fund life-saving research to achieve their goal which is “for 3 in 4 people to survive their cancer by 2034” so every step taken towards beating cancer relies on every pound donated.
H&H of course rose to the challenge and braved the elements through wind, rain, sleet, snow and some sunshine to accomplish the challenge; the team consisted of:
Alison and Phil (Alison’s better half!), Jade, Fiona and Margaret from Group Services
Judith, Harriet and Allan from H&H Reeds
Carolyn from Farmstock
Paul and Lynne from H&H Insurance Brokers
As well as these members of staff now being fitter (and very smug at achieving 10K steps per day) they have raised a whopping £2,036 (including Gift Aid) which is a great effort – well done everyone!! Congratulations everyone!!
