Thank you to Gillian Potts who judged the competition. She commented "when I came into H&H and saw all the beautiful Easter cakes on the table my first reaction was "WOW". It was a pleasure judging H&H's Easter bake off, from biscuits to cupcakes, then to the showstoppers the Easter decorated cakes which were all fantastic, mind the winner was outstanding in every way, a beautiful rainbow sponge, and decorated so professionally, think you will have to enter the lady in The Great British Bake Off. There was abit of fun too with some of the Yard lads buying a Tesco sponge cake and adding some Crispy cake on top....we had laugh which is part of the fun....Needless to say they didn't win! Congratulations to all that entered as it all takes time and effort, I hope you made lots of money too selling off pieces of cake for your chosen charity. A Superb display of Easter bakes from some very talented people working within H&H".
