H&H Land & Estates Partner with Carlisle Based Architectural and Planning Firm To increase their Client Offering
Further expanding the wide range of services they offer, H&H Land & Estates are to partner with the multi-disciplinary architectural practice Harraby Green Associates, and welcome Angus Hutchinson and Georgie Cray to its team of professional advisors. Their considerable expertise will enable them to provide planning advice on all types of projects from farm buildings to housing developments.
Georgie and Angus are certainly an impressive and well qualified duo. Angus Hutchinson has a BA(Hons) in Town and Country Planning, an MSc in Architectural Conservation and a Masters in Business Administration. As a qualified RIBA Chartered Architect and RIBA Conservation Architect Georgie Cray has worked more than fifteen years in practice and has a great depth of local knowledge and understanding of working with heritage projects.
Commenting on this collaboration Tracey Jackson, Associate Director of H&H Land & Estates said, “We are delighted to be working with Harraby Green Associates, to strengthen the full range of professional services we are able to provide to our clients.
Their skillset complements those of our own professional team and means that we now offer a comprehensive integrated planning service, from start to finish. This will include site surveys, design and access statements, provision of architectural drawings, guidance through the planning application process, discharge of conditions, building regulation applications, right through to project management. It is a full and complete offering that will take away much of the stress associated with any such projects.”
Negotiating one’s way through any planning process can be fraught with problems and time and money can be saved by getting an authoritative initial opinion as to whether planning is likely to be granted before negotiating terms for acquisition, engaging architects or commissioning specialist studies. Angus with his thirty years’ experience is ideally suited to helping clients through this potentially arduous process.
“I am excited to be working with Tracey and her team at H&H Land & Estates,” said Angus. “There is a real synergy between our two companies and I am sure both will benefit from this partnership. Many landowners and farmers are wanting to diversity and often this involves some sort of building or conversion project. Georgie and I are looking forward to helping them successfully navigate their way through the whole process from conception to completion without any pitfalls.”
This collaboration is part of the strategic growth plan of H&H Land & Estates, which last year had a record year for property sales and has been growing its team and services to meet increasing demand. If you would like to get in touch with either Angus or Georgie they can be reached through the H&H Land & Estates office at Borderway, Carlisle, on [email protected].
