Last night we held our annual Carol Service at the Borderway Mart in Carlisle and it was wonderful to welcome more than 70 people from both the city and our farming communities. Rev David Newlove took the service, the Allerdale Fiddlers provided the superb music and everyone joined in singing the carols with great enthusiasm.
Our mini market - selling cheeses, honey, cakes, wreaths and artwork - was well attended and we'd like to thank the stallholders for their support.
