Kitchen Lead

H&H Group is a diverse organisation trading in the livestock marketing, insurance, land agency and estate agency sectors.

At our Borderway Mart, Rosehill, Carlisle we have an on-site café which provides breakfasts and lunches to mart customers as well as refreshments and snacks to visitors and employees throughout the day.

We are looking for a Kitchen Lead to join our busy catering team.

The role will include:

• preparing hot and cold meals, ensuring the highest quality at all times.
• attending and catering for off-site events as required.
• In liaison with the Facilities Supervisor and Café Team Lead planning menus in line with demand levels in relation to sale days and budget.
• producing staff rotas to ensure café cover is provided on-site at all times.
• overseeing the cleaning and storage of all kitchen equipment and ensuring that the overall cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas is carried out in accordance with cleaning schedules and recorded accordingly.
• maintaining current knowledge with regard to Health & Safety and adhering strictly to legislation relevant to the catering operation. To ensure health and safety standards in the kitchen and dining area and to promote safe practice.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
