Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant down south, Roger relocated to Cumbria in 2002. Initially working within accountancy firms and then latterly in a couple of well-known local businesses, Roger gained a wide range of experiences and knowledge, developing his skillsets as an Accountant.
Roger joined H&H Group in 2016 and leads the Group Services Finance team. Every day poses different challenges, but the team meet them all head on, striving to do the best for the group of companies whilst living the company values, and ensuring that H&H is a fun and rewarding place to work.
Roger loves the outdoors and makes the most of the wonderful countryside in Cumbria with his family - whether on a bike, in a kayak or on foot.
Joined H&H Group in 2019 after a fifteen-year career with a multi-national company. Previously gained a wide variety of experience in maintaining knowledge of H&S Management System Standards and programmes to meet statutory requirements and actively develop, promote and improve site health and safety culture through training and ensuring records required to demonstrate legal compliance are maintained.
Currently studying for a Diploma in Applied Health and Safety which will help me to ensure the safety, health, and welfare of employees and enhance company reputation.
I believe that every day is a different day, it won’t always be easy, but we should always try to do what is right.
